Peer Review Policy

Times Global International Journal of Multidisciplinary Research

Times Global International Journal of Multidisciplinary Research is committed to maintaining the highest standards of peer review and academic integrity. The journal follows a structured and transparent double-blind peer review process, as outlined below:

1. Initial Screening by Editor

Upon submission, each manuscript is reviewed by the Editor for:

  • Plagiarism check
  • Relevance to the journal’s scope
  • Compliance with formatting and submission guidelines

The Editor may communicate with the author(s) during this stage for clarification or corrections. Based on this preliminary assessment, the Editor decides whether the manuscript is eligible for peer review.

2. Double-Blind Peer Review

Eligible manuscripts are forwarded to two qualified reviewers based on their subject expertise. The double-blind method is followed:

  • Authors’ identities are not disclosed to reviewers
  • Reviewers’ identities are not disclosed to authors

This ensures an impartial and unbiased evaluation.

3. Review Criteria

Reviewers assess the manuscript based on the following:

  • Originality and novelty
  • Objectivity and clarity
  • Soundness of methodology
  • Scientific or scholarly impact
  • Quality of conclusions
  • Relevance and completeness of references

4. Reviewer Recommendations

Reviewers provide:

  • Constructive feedback
  • Suggestions for improvement, if necessary
  • A recommendation to accept, revise, or reject the manuscript

5. Editorial Decision

The Editor considers the reviewers’ comments and determines whether the manuscript:

  • Meets the journal’s academic and editorial standards
  • Requires revisions or is ready for publication

The Editor’s decision is final regarding acceptance, rejection, or request for revision. The Editor also reserves the right to:

  • Edit the accepted manuscript for clarity and formatting
  • Assign the article to a relevant upcoming issue

Timeline of the Review Process

  • Assignment to Reviewer: Within 7 days of submission
  • Peer Review Duration: Typically completed within 2 weeks
  • Total Review Timeframe: 15–30 days on average

Authors are notified of the decision (acceptance/rejection/revisions) promptly after the review process.

Note: If the review process exceeds 30 days, authors are encouraged to contact the editorial office via email to inquire about the status of their submission.

Special Issues

The peer review process for Special Issues follows the same guidelines as mentioned above, ensuring consistent review quality and academic standards.
